ScanTech offers safe pipes based on the industry standards EN253, our patented technology is a factory-applied insulation with embedded state-of-the-art technology leak and 3rd party damage detection using fibre optic technology.

Based on moving our equipment into a steel producers factory will give an upgrade / add on to any steel pipes and give a supremely efficient layer of PUR insulation that incorporates fibre optic cables.
This method is adding additional value to any steel product – the PE casing will ensure that any leaks are kept in 6 meter sections thanks to the patent pending design.
Other application could be that client have purchased the steel pipes themselves and we then take over the responsibility and establishes a workshop area where we upgrade the pipes near the site.
We can upgrade pipes up to 12 m length – section dividers will always be 6 m due to the foaming process.

ScanTECH’s on-site retrofitting principles with injected PUR insulation and the protective casing in permeable HDPE, permits building 100% water tight series.
The insulation keeps the heated fluid efficiently, with low thermal losses along the whole run of the retrofitted pipeline.
